Rain and frost predicted in Kazakhstan

Kazhydromet has issued a weather forecast in Kazakhstan for April 26, El.kz reports.

The southern cyclone will continue to affect the southern, southeastern and eastern regions of the country. Due to the passage of atmospheric fronts, rain with thunderstorms is expected.

In the east of Kazakhstan, night snow is predicted, mixed precipitation (rain and snow) is expected during the day. In the mountainous regions of the southeast of the country, there will also be mixed precipitation.

In the south and south-east of Kazakhstan, heavy rains with hail are expected, and in the mountainous regions heavy precipitation (rain and snow). Throughout the country, the wind will increase, squally winds are expected in the south and southeast. Precipitation is not expected in the west and north of the country.

Also at night in the Ulytau region, frosts of up to -2 degrees are predicted.

Fire threat is expected to be high in Mangistau region, as well as in central, eastern and western areas of Kyzylorda region.
