Today, media professionals are celebrating their holiday.
Officially, this holiday was established by the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev.
On his Twitter page, Head of State wrote "this will be a fair solution, taking into account the important role of the media in the development of society".
Since 2020, Kazakhstan will be celebrating Communications and Informatization Day on May 17, and Media Workers' Day on June 28.
