The first racket of Kazakhstan beat the two-time champion of the Grand Slam tournaments, Belarusian Victoria Azarenka (32 WTA) in the semifinals of the WTA-1000 tournament in Miami (USA) with a score of 6:4, 0:6, 7:6 (7:2), El.kz reports citing Tennis Federation of Kazakhstan.
The duration of the match was 2 hours and 33 minutes. Rybakina had 11 serves, three double faults and two break points out of 11.
On March 30, in the final of the Miami Open, the leader of the women's team of Kazakhstan will play with the winner of the confrontation between Ekaterina Alexandrova (Russia) and Danielle Collins (USA).
