9 road sections flooded in Kazakhstan

As of April 11, 2024 at 09:30 a.m., due to warming and sharp melting of snow on roads of international and republican significance, incidents were recorded with meltwater crossing the carriageway in 9 sections with a total length of 7153 meters in 4 regions (Akmola, Atyrau, Kostanay, North Kazakhstan region), El.kz reports

The traffic restriction applies to 13 roads of republican significance in 6 regions (Aktobe, Akmola, Atyrau, Kostanay, Mangystau, North Kazakhstan region) with a length of 640 km.

At the moment, 454 units of equipment and 562 people are involved on republican roads.
