Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) hosted the Asian Freestyle Wrestling Championship, as a result of which Kazakhstan's Rizabek Aitmukhan won a silver medal, El.kz reports with reference to Olympic.kz.
The Kazakhstani was defeated by Tazhudinov from Bahrain in final of the weight category up to 97 kilograms.
The fight ended with Tazhudinov's victory with a score of 4-2. Rizabek finished the World Cup with a silver medal.
Tazhudinov won the World Cup in 2023. At the same time, Aitmukhan became the champion, but in the weight category up to 92 kilograms.
