Two-time world champion in blitz chess in 2021 and 2022, Bibisara Assaubayeva, won an impressive victory at the ninth online tournament of Swiss Queens Wednesday,  El.kz reports citing the press service of the Committee of Sport and Physical Education of the Ministry of Culture and Sport of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Kazakh grandmaster scored 10.5 points out of 11 possible.

Bibisara Assaubayeva - 10.5 points ($300)

Teodora Injac – 8.5 points ($250)

Savita Sri Bhaskar – 8.5 points ($200)

Vantika Agrawal – 8 points ($150)

Pham Le Thao Nguyen – 7.5 points ($100)

The Swiss Queens Wednesday series of online tournaments is held as part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of FIDE and brings together the strongest female chess players on the planet who hold FIDE titles. The prize pool for each tournament is $1000.
