In the Karaganda region, a pilot project was launched to digitalize work processes to improve efficiency and ensure transparency in the provision of specialized social services. As part of this initiative, ten stationary centers for the provision of special services have switched to digital technologies, El.kz reports.

According to the Ministry of Labor, the project digitized the medical records of 2,258 clients, which made it possible to automate many work processes in these centers.

An agreement was also signed between the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Akimat of the Karaganda region. This Memorandum of Cooperation is aimed at transforming the work of centers for the provision of special social services.

At the moment, 358 employees from ten centers of the region are included in the information system "Socium". The system provides electronic records for 2,258 clients of these centers, covering all stages - from registration and initial examination to services provided and medicines issued.
