We must listen to people's criticism – Kazakh PM
As the prime minister noted, the population should see that the problems raised by him are being solved.
Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov spoke about the development of the principle of a "Listening state" at a government meeting, El.kz reports.
The head of Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Umarov noted that on behalf of the President, schedules of meetings of heads of central and local executive bodies with the population were approved. According to the new format, meetings are held in the form of "live communication" with preliminary information and explanatory work in the press and social networks.
As part of their visits to the regions, the ministers held personal receptions of citizens, met with representatives of public associations. A preliminary analysis of citizens' appeals to the planned meeting with the population was carried out
Akims of all levels, after holding meetings with the population, systematize problematic issues with consideration of the possibility of their financing at the sessions of maslikhats.
"The Head of State stressed the importance of the principle of a “Listening state”. We must listen to people's problems, their criticism. People care about the simple things happening here and now. Only following the meetings of the population with akims of all levels, about 30 thousand questions and proposals were raised. These issues need to be addressed. People should see that the problems they raise are being solved," the Prime Minister said.
