
Young robotics engineers from Uralsk win awards at world championship in USA
Students from Uralsk proudly represented Kazakhstan at the prestigious international robotics championship WPI Annual FLL Event (WAFFLE), which took place from June 13 to 15 in the American city of Worcester. Iver 650 teams from 108 countries participated in the competition, El.kz reports citing Mayor office of the West Kazakhstan region.
The West Kazakhstan team Tidal Tumble took 2nd place in the Engineering Excellence Awards and 6th place in the Robot Performance category.
At the international jury's court, the students presented a unique development - the Agua Aeris project, a device for obtaining drinking water from the air. The idea generated great interest and demonstrated a high level of technical preparation, engineering thinking, and ecological awareness among Kazakhstani schoolchildren.
