Yerlan Koshanov arrives in Russia on an official visit

Chairman of the Majilis Yerlan Koshanov went on an official visit to the Russia, El.kz reports.

The official representative of the lower house of the Kazakh parliament said that Koshanov's visit to the neighboring country will last two days. As part of his trip, scheduled for March 4 and 5, visits to Moscow and Kazan are planned.

During his stay in Moscow, Koshanov will hold talks with Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the State Duma, and Valentina Matvienko, Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia, the Majilis said.

In Kazan, meetings are planned with Rustam Minnikhanov, the rais of Tatarstan, and Farid Mukhametshin, the chairman of the state council of the republic. The discussion will concern the deepening of inter-parliamentary ties and the development of interregional economic, cultural and educational cooperation.
