Kazakhstan’s Yerbol Khamitov won biathlon gold at a single Para Biathlon World Championship, El.kz reports .
Yerbol Khamitov of Kazakhstan clocked at 35:29.01 seconds finishing first in the biathlon 12.5 km sprint competition at the Para Biathlon World Championship.
Canadian Derek Zaplotinsky claimed silver with a result of 35:36.3 sec. American Aaron Pike took the third place.
