Year's World Health Day to hold under motto: "My Health, My Right"

In all countries, World Health Day is celebrated on April 7 every year, in honor of the creation of the World Health Organization in 1948. This day is a reminder of the importance of taking care of health and preventing various diseases. This year, special attention is paid to initiatives dedicated to the principle of "My Health, My Right", El.kz reports.

As part of the celebration of World Health Day 2024, various events were held in Almaty aimed at raising awareness of public health and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Medical workers and health professionals have been at the forefront of this work.

Particular attention was paid to mass sports events among medical workers, as well as physical training under the motto "Being healthy is fashionable!".

It is important to note that the right to health and life belongs to everyone, regardless of race, nationality, sex or age. This right is protected in both the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Constitution of the World Health Organization. On this day, we remind ourselves of the need to fight for our right to health and solidarity in achieving this goal.
