World pharmaceutical manufacturer intends to establish production of vaccines in Kazakhstan

Kazakh Minister of Health Azhar Giniyat discussed with representatives of Pfizer the issues of joint implementation of projects in the field of vaccine production in  Kazakhstan, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the ministry.

During the conversation with the regional director of Pfizer Ozgur Yaziyurt, the head of the department expressed gratitude for the initiative taken to develop the pharmaceutical industry and deepen partnerships.

"We welcome the transfer of American technologies, including the joint implementation of projects aimed at introducing modern methods of diagnosis and treatment of diseases, making an active contribution to the development of the health care system of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The next important stage of our cooperation will be the localization in Kazakhstan of the production of a new generation of the Prevenar 20 vaccine by Pfizer," Azhar Giniyat said.

The meeting also discussed the issues of improving the regulatory framework and creating a favorable investment climate for the implementation of projects to localize the production of pharmaceutical products in Kazakhstan.
