WINNERS OF "SHANYRAK" COMPETITITON IN THE FIELD OF JOURNALISM AND IN THE FIELD OF MEDIATION "THE BEST MEDIATOR” TO BE AWARDED IN ASTANA

November 20, the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan will award the winners of competitions in the field of journalism "Shanyrak" and in the field of mediation "Best mediator" in Astana. 

"Shanyrak" competition is aimed at promoting programs and materials in the media, revealing the essence and content of state policy in the field of interethnic relations, contributing to the development of intercultural dialogue.

This year, 328 works from 103 journalists were provided for the competition in the following categories: "Best article on the Kazakhstan model of public consent and national unity"; "Best article on new activities and projects of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan"; "Best article aimed at educating the younger generation in the spirit of Kazakhstan patriotism, mutual enrichment of cultures"; " Best article on the promotion and expansion of the state language»; "Best material in social networks on the topic of public consent and national unity".

The competition among public mediators is held in order to promote the development of mediation in the field of public consent and national unity.

In addition, active users of social networks who took part in the contest for the best post on the theme: "Tauelsiz Kazakhstan damuyna koskan menin ulesim" – "My contribution to the development of independent Kazakhstan" will be awarded with valuable gifts and diplomas.

The event is also expected to sign a Memorandum of cooperation between the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan and the National branch of "Interstate broadcasting company "Mir" JSC in the framework of the project “Zvuki stepi” ("Sounds of the steppe").
