The Ambassador shared her thoughts during the latest episode of the exclusive podcast «Born Bold. Travel Boldcast»  by Kairat Sadvakassov, Chairman of the Board of  «Kazakh Tourism», El.kz cites qaztourism.kz.

Kazakhstan has left a lasting impression on Katie Litch with its vastness and stunning landscapes. The diplomat highlighted that the country possesses an extraordinary natural heritage, and for British tourists, visiting Kazakhstan will be a true discovery and a source of inspiration.

The podcast also focuses on British architect Thomas Atkinson and his wife Lucy, who traveled through the Zhetysu region in the 19th century. It was in this picturesque area that their son was born, and they named him Alatau Tamshybulak, after the mountain range and the place of his birth.

Ambassador Litch also discussed the first guidebook about Kazakhstan, which was prepared by her predecessor, former Ambassador Paul Brummel.

The conversation touched on various topics, including the development of ecotourism, glamping, yurt tourism, the nomadic hospitality culture, and the significance of the Silk Road.

It is important to note that «Born Bold. Travel Boldcast» is the first English-language podcast dedicated to tourism in Kazakhstan. Its main goal is to promote the country's tourism, providing deeper insights into its traditions, culture, and tourist destinations. The first episode featured the Ambassador of Italy to Kazakhstan, Marco Alberti.
