Visit to China: Kazakh Minister of Agriculture takes part in business forum
Minister of Agriculture Yerbol Karashukeyev took part in a business forum in Beijing as part of his official visit to China. The event has become a platform for discussing the ongoing transformations of agri-food systems and emerging trends in the agro-industrial complex of the region, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
China today is the largest exporter of agricultural products and has advanced agricultural technologies. However, there is an untapped potential of partnership between Kazakhstan and China in the agricultural sector, the minister noted.
Our country provides opportunities for investing in the agricultural sector. For the implementation of investment projects in the agro-industrial complex, state support measures are provided, including industry benefits and tax preferences, subsidy tools are in place.
Taking all this into account, Yerbol Karashukeyev invited businessmen from China to visit Kazakhstan, get acquainted with the technological capabilities of the agricultural industry, identify niches in the agro-industrial complex for the further creation of joint projects with Kazakh partners, as well as get acquainted with the experience of Chinese colleagues who have already opened a number of successful enterprises in Kazakhstan.
The head of the Ministry of Agriculture also noted that the ministry, for its part, is ready to provide all the necessary conditions for investors and provide comprehensive support.
It should be noted that the business forum was attended by representatives of more than 20 leading Chinese companies producing food, pharmaceuticals, as well as equipment for the agro-industrial complex.
Among them are one of the largest corporations in China for the production of agricultural machinery Jiangsu Yueda Intelligent Agricultural Equipment Co., Ltd, the leading company in the field of animal husbandry, Fu Hai, as well as the world supplier of irrigation equipment Dalian Yulin and many others.
