Vice Minister of Justice meets with Head of Mission of OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights
As part of the working visit of the head of the mission of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights Owen Murphy, a meeting was held with Vice Minister of Justice Alma Mukanova, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the department.
The meeting was also attended by Election Advisor Martina Barker-Tsiganikova, Election Expert Alexei Gromov, Second Secretary of the Department of Europe of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Alzhanov Alimbek, as well as employees of the Departments of Legislation, Registration Service and Legal Services, International Law of the Ministry of Justice.
The parties discussed the recommendations of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights in the framework of the 2023 parliamentary elections and the 2022 referendum.
Alma Mukanova stressed the importance of dialogue and cooperation. "This meeting is an important step in strengthening international cooperation in the field of law, democracy and protection of human rights," the Vice Minister concluded.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to jointly continue work in this direction.
