1,604 ethnic Kazakhs received educational grants in the new academic year, which is twice as much compared to last year,El.kz reports.
Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek noted: "Previously, kandas took the UNT in 5 subjects, and from 2024 - only in 3 subjects, and there are no requirements for them to score a threshold score."
