Türkiye detained Kazakh woman wanted by Interpol

A 42-year-old citizen of Kazakhstan, who was on the international wanted list for fraud on an especially large scale, was detained in the Turkish city of Antalya. The operation was carried out in cooperation with the INTERPOL National Central Bureau (NCB) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan and the law enforcement agencies in Turkey, El.kz reports.

In 2009, while working as a deputy director of one of the banks in Aktau, the woman took out a loan of 200 thousand US dollars for the purchase of real estate. To receive funds, she forges the co-borrower's signature, after which she disappeared with the money.
