Turkestan and Chinese entrepreneurs to start joint projects
Akim of the Turkestan region Darkhan Satybaldy, within the framework of an official and business visit to China, took part in a trade and economic forum with the participation of entrepreneurs of fraternal cities, held in the city of Xi'an with the support of the Consulate General. The business forum was attended by representatives of over 80 enterprises of the two countries, who held bilateral meetings in the B2B format, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the regional akimat.
Our business delegation included representatives of education, healthcare, IT, construction, and agricultural producers.
At the meeting, Darkhan Satybaldy noted that individual work will be carried out on each new project. He introduced the investment potential of the Turkestan region and the conditions for investors, stressing that the region provides all the necessary support for the successful implementation of investment projects. According to D. Satybaldy, the mechanisms for the development of not only the economy, but also culture, tourism, and education will be considered.
"As you can see, the scale of cooperation in our region is extensive. We intend to implement important projects aimed at increasing the relationship between the two countries. The state offers investors a wide range of preferences. I invite everyone to the sacred Turkestan region," the akim of the region said. At the business forum, entrepreneurs of the two countries presented their companies. Following the bilateral meetings, a number of documents were signed. In particular, an agreement was reached on the production of drones for agriculture, the construction of international schools, IT, the opening of a hospital for the treatment of brain diseases, the construction of a plant for the production of building materials, and the cultivation of crops through digitalization.
The head of the region held a series of negotiations on the construction of a plant for the production of building materials, the development of agriculture, medicine, education, and tourism. Negotiations were also held on the construction of a new vegetable store in the Turkestan region.
At the end of the meeting, the head of the region, confirming the importance of mutually beneficial ties on the part of the akimat, expressed a desire for further joint work, expansion of industrial cooperation. These measures will allow the development of business and friendly relations between the two countries to continue.
During the visit to China, the delegation of the Turkestan region planned to visit several production facilities and take part in other events.
