Travel blogger from Kuwait intends to develop a KazGo app for tourists

Kuwaiti journalist and travel blogger Khalid Almutairi, who previously wrote an e-book about Kazakhstan in Arabic, is preparing to release an application in Arabic and English about the main sights of Kazakhstan called KazGo, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Middle Eastern business publication ZAWYA.com, broadcasting in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and other countries of the Middle East and North Africa, published an article about which countries tourists from the UAE plan to visit at the end of June, during the 6-day weekend in honor of Eid al-Adha. The publication notes that 80% of tourists from the UAE prefer to rest abroad. At the same time, this year the demand for travel to Kazakhstan has increased.

“Kazakhstan systematically attracts tourists from Arab countries. For example, since January of this year, there have been more direct flights between Kazakhstan and the UAE. Also, our country actively participates in international exhibitions in the region, invites influencers as part of information tours and holds B2B meetings. At the end of May, B2B meetings will be held in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) and Doha (Qatar) with the participation of our tour operators and local tourism industry," said Yerzhan Yerkinbayev, Vice Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
