A delegation of 11 Kazakh tourism and hotel companies takes part in the tourism exhibition in Riyadh, and also holds b2b meetings with key travel agents and tour operators in the region with the support of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Saudi Arabia, the National Company Kazakh Tourism and the akimat of Shymkent, El.kz reports.
The Riyadh Travel Fair, which is an important event for industry professionals and travel enthusiasts from across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, takes place from 22 to 24 May 2023 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Representatives of various large companies in the field of tourism and aviation take part in the exhibition. At the same time, the three-day exhibition was visited by more than 24 thousand people
Within the framework of the exhibition, the National Company Kazakh Tourism organized b2b meetings for Kazakh companies with the local tourism industry in order to get acquainted with the unique sights and tourist products available in Kazakhstan.
It should be noted that the number of visitors from Saudi Arabia to Kazakhstan increased dramatically in 2022. If earlier no more than 900 visitors came to Kazakhstan, then last year their number increased to 6 thousand people.
This was a consequence of the growing interest of Saudi citizens in traveling to Kazakhstan, due to the availability of direct flights, visa-free travel, as well as previously held b2b meetings.
According to the forecasts of the National Company Kazakh Tourism, this year it is expected to increase the tourist flow from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Kazakhstan by at least one and a half times.
