Tokayev reduces staff of National Bank

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed a decree dated August 17, 2022, which amended the Regulations and structures of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, El.kz reports with reference to the inform.kz.
"To approve the total staffing of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including the central office, its branches and representative offices, in the amount of 2161 units," the document says.
Previously, the staff of the financial regulator and its branches was 2587 units.
The decree shall enter into force from the date of signing.
