President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received the Chairman of the National Bank Galymzhan Pirmatov, El.kz reports with reference to Akorda.

The Head of State heard a report on the preliminary results of the National Bank`s implementation of the Monetary Policy for January-June 2022.

The Chairman of the National Bank reported on the inflation forecast, measures aimed at stabilizing consumer prices, as well as on the current state of the country's international reserves.

Following the meeting, Tokayev instructed to strengthen work to contain inflation and increase the effectiveness of monetary policy.
