Tokayev visits IQostanay Smart Center for Children
Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited the IQostanay Smart Center for Children in Kostanay, El.kz news agency reports with reference to the press service of Akorda.
Currently, about two thousand students receive additional education here.
The palace has cyber sports, engineering, aircraft modeling classrooms, chemical and physical labs, renewable energy sources laboratories, well as assembly, educational and choreographic halls.
The students attending robotics, engineering and aircraft modeling presented their projects to the Head of State, and then demonstrated experiments in a virtual laboratory.
"I believe that in the future you will have good opportunities to apply your knowledge, skills and qualifications, because all this is in demand in modern life, economics and other areas. We have to be a technological nation," the President said during his meeting with the students of the Smart Center.
Students thanked Kassym-Jomart Tokayev for the decision to increase the number of educational grants in technical specialties.
