During a telephone conversation, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev thanked Ilham Aliyev for sending a representative sports delegation to the V World Nomad Games.
The Head of State noted the high dynamics of bilateral trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation in the spirit of strategic partnership.
The President stressed the importance of holding the Days of Azerbaijani Culture in Kazakhstan at the end of September for further rapprochement of the peoples of the two countries.
In addition, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated his counterpart on the successful parliamentary elections, which were also observed by representatives of Kazakhstan.
The Head of State confirmed the readiness of the Kazakh side to continue to provide its platform in Almaty for peaceful talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
For his part, Aliyev voiced Baku's intention to continue its efforts to further strengthen cooperation with Astana across the entire spectrum of bilateral relations.
