The President received Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Moldova Mihai Popșoi,El.kz reports citing the press service of Aqorda.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for the development of Kazakh-Moldovan relations.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted that the opening of the Moldovan Embassy in Kazakhstan is a significant event, reflecting the commitment of both countries to strengthening friendly relations and multifaceted cooperation.
In turn, Mihai Popșoi congratulated all Kazakh diplomats on their professional holiday on behalf of the Head of State and emphasized the special role of diplomacy in today’s international landscape.
The two sides discussed prospects for expanding trade, economic, and investment cooperation in various sectors of mutual interest.
At the end of the meeting, the Head of State conveyed his greetings to the President of Moldova, Maia Sandu.
