Tokayev receives Chairman of Central Council of Veterans of Kazakhstan Organization

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has received Chairman of Central Council of Veterans of Kazakhstan Organization Omirzak Ozganbayev, El.kz cites Akorda .

The meeting discussed the issues related to the development of the country and upbringing of younger generation.

The President called on the older generation to actively participate in the implementation of the tasks announced at the National Kurultai in Atyrau and XXXIII session of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.

Particular attention should be paid to promoting the institution of the family and protecting young people from such negative phenomena as drug addiction and gambling addiction.

Omirzak Ozganbayev put forward a number of proposals for the development of rural areas. He also shared information about the current initiatives of the Veterans Organization and the association's future plans .
