Tokayev notes importance of international cooperation in education

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited the new dormitories of the L. N. Gumilev Eurasian National University (ENU), El.kz reports citing Akorda.

The new dormitory for students of the Eurasian National University is designed for 2656 places.

Built as part of a public-private partnership, the dormitory consists of three modern blocks. Each of them is equipped with co-working areas, libraries, sports that create the most comfortable conditions for living and studying.

During the construction of the dormitory, the needs of students with special needs were taken into account. The design and infrastructure fully meet the requirements of a barrier-free environment. The Minister of Science and Higher Education reported to the President on the creation of an academic hub in the country by opening branches of foreign universities and measures to provide students with dormitories.

The President drew attention to the importance of international cooperation in the field of education and youth exchanges.
