Tokayev meets with UAE ambassador to Kazakhstan

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev receives Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Kazakhstan Mohammed Saeed Mohammed Al Ariqi,El.kz reports citing Akorda.

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed gratitude for the active participation of the representative delegation of the United Arab Emirates in the work of the SCO summit in Astana. As the Head of State noted, Kazakhstan pays special attention to the development of multifaceted cooperation with the UAE.

The implementation of the agreements previously reached at the highest level in the trade, economic and investment spheres was discussed. The need to continue work within the framework of the Joint Declaration on Strategic Investment Projects between Kazakhstan and the UAE was noted.

In addition, the meeting considered the prospects for cooperation in the energy and transport and logistics industries, as well as in the field of information technology and AI.
