Tokayev meets with the Special Envoy of the President of Rwanda Jean Paul Nyirubutama
The Head of State received the Special Envoy of the President of Rwanda Jean Paul Nyirubutama, El.kz news agency reports with reference to the press service of Akorda.
Welcoming the Special Envoy, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev conveyed his best wishes to his counterpart, President of Rwanda Paul Kagame. He expressed gratitude to the Rwandan side for its commitment to building up multifaceted cooperation with Kazakhstan.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted with satisfaction the positive dynamics of interaction with African countries, stressing the importance of further strengthening relations with Rwanda on a wide range of issues on the bilateral and multilateral agenda.
The President highly appreciated the recent signing of the Agreement between Kazakhstan and Rwanda on the exemption from visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and service passports.
Jean Paul Nyirubutama thanked the Head of our state for the warm welcome, noting the significant successes of Kazakhstan in the political and socio-economic spheres.
During the conversation, areas of trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation were also discussed.
