Tokayev meets with Chairman of National Assembly of Armenia
Welcoming the Chairman of National Assembly of Armenia, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted that his visit is of great importance for deepening bilateral cooperation, including in terms of its comprehensive support from legislative bodies, El.kz reports citing the press service of Akorda.
The Head of State emphasized that Armenia is a reliable partner for Kazakhstan in the South Caucasus region.
According to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Kazakh-Armenian relations are currently developing steadily in many areas. This is facilitated by regular political dialogue, as well as the expansion of trade, economic, and cultural-humanitarian ties. Alen Simonyan expressed sincere gratitude to the Head of State and the people of Kazakhstan for their warm reception. He emphasized the importance of building a trusting political partnership and strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation as one of the key elements of bilateral dialogue.
In addition, the Chairman of the National Assembly stated Armenia's interest in actively expanding cooperation with Kazakhstan in the trade and economic sphere.
