The Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated judges and judicial system workers on their professional holiday. In his address, President Tokayev noted that this year has the particular significance for the entire justice system — it marks the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of Kazakhstan, which became the foundation of independence and a guarantor of the rights and freedoms of citizens, El.kz reports citing Aqorda.
According to the President, a strong and independent judiciary plays a key role in ensuring the rule of law and the implementation of the principle of 'Law and Order.'
The President reported that from July 1, three separate courts will begin operation in Kazakhstan — for criminal, civil, and administrative cases.
According to Kazakh leader, this will significantly expand the institutional opportunities for citizens and businesses in asserting their rights.
Tokayev emphasized that justice in society directly depends on the professionalism, integrity, and impartiality of judges in handling each case.
"I express my gratitude to the judiciary, the staff, and the veterans of the courts for their conscientious work and loyalty to their calling. I am confident that you will make an important contribution to the establishment of a truly Just Kazakhstan. I wish everyone health, prosperity, and success!", the message reads.
