Tokayev and Xi Jinping open branch of Beijing University of Language and Culture in Astana
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Xi Jinping took part in the solemn ceremony of operating trucks and railway containers carrier along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route via teleconference, El.kz reports.
At the end of the video, the Kazakh, Chinese Presidents launched the movement of cargo ferries.
As part of the event, the leaders of the two countries also inaugurated the cultural centers of Kazakhstan in Beijing and China in Astana. The opening of these centers marks a new stage in the development of humanitarian cooperation between Kazakhstan and China. The centers will serve as venues for various cultural events, exhibitions, lectures and master classes aimed at strengthening mutual understanding between the nations of the two countries.
In addition, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Xi Jinping opened a branch of the Beijing University of Language and Culture on the basis of Astana International University. Cooperation between Kazakh and Chinese universities will provide students with unique opportunities for training and professional growth, will contribute to the development of language skills, intercultural communication and scientific research.
The successful implementation of these projects will be an important step towards intensifying cultural and educational exchanges, as well as the development of political and economic relations between the two countries. The Heads of State expressed confidence that these initiatives will contribute to strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between the peoples of Kazakhstan and China.
