Tokayev and Aliyev take part in arrival ceremony of container block train from Xi'an to Absheron

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Ilham Aliyev took part via teleconference in the arrival ceremony of a container block train from the new Kazakh-Chinese transport and logistics center in Xi'an to the Absheron station (Azerbaijan) along the route of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR), El.kz reports citing Akorda.

In his solemn speech, the Head of our State stressed that today, in the context of global geopolitical turbulence, a new transport and logistics framework of Eurasia is being built. In his opinion, close and fruitful cooperation between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan plays a key role in this process. Through joint efforts, the trade and economic potential of the two countries is expanding.

President Ilham Aliyev congratulated transport workers on this significant event. He noted that Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan are actively working to strengthen cooperation in many areas of cooperation, including the transit and transport sector. In conclusion, the leaders of the two countries expressed gratitude to all Kazakh and Azerbaijani specialists for productive joint work and wished them further success.
