Three Kazakhstani cities develop their own design codes

As part of the adaptation of the standards of integrated urban development in the regions of the country, design projects (codes) of cities of republican significance, regional centers and large cities are being developed with the use of landscaping and small architectural forms, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The design code allows you to transform the urban environment, defining a holistic picture of the urban space, taking into account local specifics and identity. The development of design codes includes conceptual solutions and approaches to the coloring and decoration of facades, entrance groups, design of infrastructure elements, individual functional zones, landscaping, navigation system, signage, corporate identity, etc.

At the moment, the design codes of the cities of Astana, Almaty, Aktobe are already ready. In other cities, design projects are being formed taking into account new standards.
