THANKS TO THE INITIATIVE OF MOTHERS’ COUNCIL, CHILDREN FROM LOW-INCOME FAMILIES IN KOSTANAI ATTEND ENTERTAINMENT FACILITIES FREE OF CHARGE

Thanks to the initiative of Mothers’ Council of Kostanai, children from low-income families were able to attend entertainment establishments free of charge.

In Kostanai, on the initiative of Mothers’ Council of the Regional Assembly of people of Kazakhstan, a charitable project "Good deeds day" was launched. Good actions are designed for the periods of winter, spring, summer and autumn holidays. At this time children from poor and needy families will be able to visit Kostanay entertainment facilities free of charge.

"At the end of 2018, during the regional session, Chairman of Mothers’ Council came up with the idea to launch a long-term project and attract various companies and firms from Kostanay and the region to it. It is gratifying that the proposal has found a response. There are already sponsors who invited children to visit entertainment facilities free of charge, thus giving children joy," said the specialist of the Regional House of Friendship Lyudmila Kovalchuk.

Lists of children from poor and low-income families are formed by schools in Kostanay and Kostanay district. Children can choose to visit a water park, skating rink, children's entertainment centre, equestrian club, theater.

On January 8, a group of children who love swimming visited the city water park. The children were riding the slides, swimming at speed and time.

Also on this day, one of the best entertainment centres in Kostanay opened its doors for the Tulegenovs family. The Tulegenov family is raising 8 foster children. In 2016, thanks to the joint efforts of teachers, a Korean ethno-cultural association, a large house for this family was built in Alzhanka village. The Tulegenov family is the winner of the regional contest "Best Family" and represented the region in the republic.
