“Study in Kazakhstan” exhibition takes place in China

The first-ever educational exhibition "Study in Kazakhstan" took place in the administrative and cultural center of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in China, El.kz reports citing the Minister of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan.
The exhibition was organized as part of the first meeting of the education ministers of the Central Asian countries and China, as well as the 9th meeting of the education ministers of the member states of SCO. The event marked a significant step in promoting Kazakhstani higher education on the international stage.
As part of the event, universities presented their educational programs, international scholarships, opportunities for dual degrees, and academic mobility. Special attention was paid to the conditions for the admission of foreign students and the prospects for studying in Kazakhstan.
According to the organizers, the choice of Xinjiang as a venue is not accidental: the region plays a key role in the educational and cultural interaction between China and the Central Asian countries. The exhibition became a platform for direct dialogue with Chinese applicants and representatives of local educational institutions.
The Chinese side highly appreciated Kazakhstan's initiative and expressed readiness to expand academic exchange. It is expected that the agreements reached will form the basis for future inter-university projects and programs.
