Stealing of gold and money worth 1 mln tenge revealed in Taraz

Police detained a resident of Taraz, who stole gold jewelry and money, El.kz reports with reference to Polisia.kz

A woman from Taraz reported to the police about the theft of gold and money from her house. The offender entered her house through the window and stole gold jewelry and money in the amount of 129,000 tenge.

The total damage amounted to 1.1 million tenge. A pre-trial investigation has been launched into this incident under the article "Theft", part 3, paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Police officers detained a previously convicted 30-year-old resident of Taraz, who fully admitted his guilt. A preventive measure in the form of detention was applied to him. Investigative actions are ongoing.
