Speaker of Serbian National Assembly noted successful parliamentary elections in Kazakhstan

To strengthen bilateral inter-parliamentary cooperation, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Serbia Madi Atamkulov met with the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Vladimir Orlic, El.kz cites MFA.

During the talks, the interlocutors noted traditionally friendly and trusting relations between the two countries, as well as mutual desire to strengthen cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats.

Madi Atamkulov informed the Speaker of the Serbian Parliament about political and socio-economic reforms in Kazakhstan. He paid special attention to the elections, supported by the logic of the ongoing constitutional reform.

Vladimir Orlich highly appreciated the dynamics of political processes in Kazakhstan and expressed his congratulations on successful holding of the recent parliamentary elections.

In order to intensify inter-parliamentary cooperation, an agreement was reached on organization of mutual visits of the deputies of friendship groups in the parliaments of the two countries.

Special attention was paid to the issue of economic cooperation with an emphasis on priority areas, including agriculture and food production, IT and alternative energy, military-technical sphere, etc.

Finalising the meeting, the interlocutors expressed their readiness to contribute to systematic development of contacts and implementation of joint projects and initiatives.
