Kazakh national team figure skater Sofia Samodelkina has won a silver medal at an international competition in the United States, El.kz reports.

At the start of the new season, the Cranberry Cup International tournament was held from August 7 to 10 in Norwood, Massachusetts, as part of the ISU Challenger Series.

In the women’s singles event, Samodelkina took second place with a total score of 203.15 points.

American Isabeau Levito claimed gold with 207.61 points. Jia Shin of South Korea secured bronze, scoring 179.97.
