Social assistance to veterans of the Great Patriotic War: Kazakhstan takes leading position in region

In total, 148 veterans of the Great Patriotic War live in Kazakhstan today. All of them received assistance payments from local budgets by May 9 worth 1.7 million tenge,El.kz reports .

Thus, 24 veterans of the Great Patriotic War live in Tajikistan, the payment to them amounted to $2.2-2.3 thousand, in Uzbekistan - $1.5 thousand, in Belarus 1.1 thousand veterans received $ 1.2 thousand each, in Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan - $ 1.1 thousand each, the least is provided for these purposes in Russia. There, 12,500 veterans received $107 each.
