NUR-SULTAN, the Republican youth forum of Assembly of People of Kazakhstan Hakaton "Social Assembly" was held in Nazarbayev University. The forum was held in order to create a youth platform for the implementation of various creative projects.
The event was attended by Zhanseit Tuimebayev, Deputy Chairman - Head of the Secretariat of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, members of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, students, the Association of Entrepreneurs and APK’s youth wing, representatives of science, business structures, NGOs and youth organizations.
2019 was a special year for the young generation of Kazakhstan. During the year, a number of events were held, many platforms were organized to discuss the main issues related to youth, said Zh. Tuimebayev. The event included a discussion of social initiatives of the Republican Youth Movement of Zhangyru Zholy.
"A new creative platform was created within the walls of Nazarbayev University. We will continue to create conditions for the generation of new ideas and proposals, projects, to develop the potential of young leaders. For the first time since gaining independence, the Year of Youth is being held, and we have done a lot of work. Firstly, within the framework of the Rukhani Zhangyru program, the project "Social and political promotion of the winners of the project "100 new faces of Kazakhstan" was implemented. Secondly, the youth movement "Zhangyru Zholy" took an active part in all major socio-political companies of the country. Thirdly, I would like to note the participation of the movement "Zhangyru Zholy" in the republican social projects. In addition, the movement "Zhangyru Zholy" was active in some regions, where major forums were held. It should also be emphasized that the movement "Zhangyru Zholy" works at the international level," said Deputy Chairman Zhanseit Tuimebayev.
To date, Nazarbayev University has opened a department "Rukhani Zhangyru", aimed at reviving the national identity of the younger generation. The university started its activity in 2010 and today it is one of the strongest in the country. Vice President for Student Affairs and International Cooperation, member of the Governing Council of Nazarbayev University Kadisha Dairova expressed special gratitude to the Assembly for the cooperation.
"It is a great honor for us to invite and work with the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan. The most important goal for us is to stop the brain drain. To date, some young people are leaving the country and leaving for other countries. We must speak openly about this. In this regard, the Assembly's contribution is great. A unique institution creates all conditions for supporting representatives of different ethnic groups. We should not forget about the real uniqueness of our country's policy. When foreigners come to our university, they ask with interest about the citizens and are surprised that more than 130 ethnic groups coexist peacefully in our country. When sending their children to Kazakhstan, we don't have to worry about their safety, as our country accepts all cultures and adheres to tolerance," Kadisha Dairova said.
In addition, the Innovation Day exhibition was held as part of the Republican Youth Forum. Start-up projects of university students and young startups were presented at the exhibition. It should be noted that the event was attended not only by the capital's youth, but also by representatives of the regions.
For example, Aslan Amanzholuly, a young startup from Atyrau region, presented the "Baby Control" project for young parents during the exhibition, aimed at facilitating the work on raising children.
"The main goal of my startup project is that with the help of a mobile phone young parents will have an opportunity to monitor the condition and movement of their children. This program allows children to be left unsupervised for 2 hours. This social project is aimed at supporting young families. After all, not every family has the opportunity to leave their children to their parents. The program will be free of charge for socially vulnerable groups of the population" said the young inventor.
In 2019, as part of the Year of Youth, projects were implemented to expand the platform of social elevators for young people. These projects allowed to form a pool of talented young leaders, a kind of personnel reserve of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.
