The large-scale “Sky of Baiserke – 2026” aviation show was held at Baiserke Airfield in the Almaty region, attracting approximately 10,000 spectators.

As part of the event, visitors were given an opportunity to see the capabilities of various types of aircraft and the professional skills of experienced pilots.

The programme included demonstration flights by experienced pilots, a firefighting demonstration using an Mi-8AMT helicopter, and a mass parachute drop from two An-2 aircraft. Spectators were also presented with group formation flights in the “Diamond” and “Fan” formations.

The aviation show concluded with a joint performance by pilots and parachutists. The programme ended with a performance of the “Sky of Baiserke” anthem, a drum show, and a fireworks display.

The “Sky of Baiserke – 2026” event has been included in the National Calendar of Tourism Events for 2026, approved by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.

The aviation show represents a large-scale project aimed at showcasing the tourism potential of the Almaty Region, promoting event tourism, and developing new tourism products in the region. The event brought aviation enthusiasts and tourists together at a single venue, contributing to the region’s overall tourism appeal.
