Kazakhstan is launching a new national technology forum, Digital Qazaqstan. It will expand the Digital Almaty platform, scaling the format to a nationwide level, according to the press service of Astana Hub, Digital Bridge.
The first event is scheduled to take place on March 27, 2026, in Shymkent, one of the country’s key industrial and economic centers.
The platform will gather regions across the country, as well as IT companies, industrial clients, and government institutions.
The forum is planned to be held annually in different cities across Kazakhstan. This approach is expected to help build a unified national ecosystem for digital and technological development.
Participants are expected to discuss the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies in industry, as well as the development of connections between regions and the national technology ecosystem.
The forum will be held under the theme “Industry 5.0: The Power of Collaboration.” The concept emphasizes closer interaction between humans and technology.
This includes the use of artificial intelligence, data, and robotics as tools to enhance human potential and improve economic efficiency.
The venue will bring together representatives of government, business, international corporations, investors, technology companies, and startups.
They will discuss practical approaches to implementing digital solutions and AI technologies in key sectors of the economy.
The business program includes a plenary session, industry-specific sessions, and roundtables. An exhibition of IT companies and startups, as well as technology competitions and hackathons, are also planned.
A separate highlight will be the Digital Qazaqstan Awards ceremony, recognizing the best practices in digital transformation.
