A large-scale environmental campaign "Taza Kazakhstan" is being held in the country, El.kz reports citing the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
As part of the eco-campaign, Shymkent firefighters conduct weekly clean-ups and landscaping of fire stations.
Also they planted trees and about 500 flower seedlings.
