Russian Culture Week held in Uralsk

Within the framework of the Week of Ethnicity, the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan of West Kazakhstan region in the House of Friendship of the city of Uralsk organized a week of Russian culture.

Within the limits of a holiday in a hall of the House of Friendship, the National museum "Old Uralsk" organized an exhibition of subjects of a life, musical instruments, books and works of writers of Russian people.

A round table on "Qazaqtanu" was held in the conference hall. Nurgul Karabalina a lecturer and master's degree student at Utemisov ZKSU, introduced the participants of the round table to such musical instruments of the Kazakh people as dombyra, kobyz, kyl-kobyz, syrnay, zhetigen and told about their origins under "Qazaqtanu" project.

Outdoors of the House of Friendship, a concert was held with the participation of creative groups from "Russian Cultural Centre", students from Dina Nurpeissova Music School, artists of Garifolla Kurmangaliyev Regional Philarmony.
