Road specialists of Kazakhstan and China signed a memorandum
Experts of Kazakhstan Road Research Institute went to China to familiarize themselves with the regulation, design, construction, operation and economics of road construction in the neighboring country. Taking advantage of this opportunity, Kazakh specialists will also get acquainted with the technical base of the Chinese road construction industry, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The delegation included Vice-President of the Institute Erik Amirbayev, Director of the Department of Road Building Materials and New Technologies Asel Nugmanova and others.
During the working meetings, the institute has already signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Jiangsu Transportation Institute.
"A memorandum of cooperation was signed with JSTI, issues on the establishment and organization of a road research institute of the two countries were discussed, issues of reforming the regulatory and technical framework in China were considered, and the procedure for introducing new technologies was studied. Further plans for close cooperation were also discussed," Nugmanova said.
Road experts note a significant increase in the quality of road construction in China over the past decades. China has rich experience in the rapid development of expressways and other high-end highways.
