Residents of Almaty lay flowers at memorial "Tagzym", El.kz reports.

According to the Almaty Akimat, residents of the city honored the memory of those killed during the January events and laid flowers at the stele of the Tagzym memorial.

The ceremony was also attended by representatives of the city leadership, public figures and ordinary citizens.

Memorial dinners in mosques were organized for visitors to the memorial and transport was prepared. In the mosques of the city today there are also ceremonies of sacrifice.

Recall that today Kazakhstan remembers the events of the tragic January, since which exactly one year has passed.
