The chairmanship of the Alliance of Turkic-Speaking News Agencies has been officially transferred to JSC Qazcontent, El.kz reports.
This was announced by Strategic Communications and Foreign Relations Manager at Turkey’s Anadolu Agency Bilgehan Öztürk.
“When we founded the Alliance, our goal was to jointly promote the shared heritage, experience, and potential of the Turkic world in the media sphere. Tomorrow, we will hold a general assembly of the Alliance of Turkic-Speaking News Agencies, which convenes once every two years. At this meeting, we will conclude the organization’s first chairmanship term and officially hand it over to Qazcontent,” Bilgehan Öztürk said.
According to him, the chairmanship handover ceremony is an important step that underscores the significance of cooperation among Turkic countries in the media and information spheres.
“The main goal of the Alliance is to unite, develop, and share our collective informational potential based on the individual experience and perspectives of each news agency, while also taking into account the demands of the time and new technologies such as artificial intelligence. By exchanging our existing capabilities and resources, we aim to elevate the potential of all member agencies to a new level,” he noted.
It should be recalled that the Alliance of Turkic-Speaking News Agencies was established in 2023 in Türkiye with the participation of five countries. Its members include Qazcontent (Kazakhstan), Anadolu Agency (Türkiye), AZERTAC (Azerbaijan), KABAR (Kyrgyzstan), and UZA (Uzbekistan).
